The Alexander Technique

We are constantly reacting—both physically and mentally—often without realizing it. The Alexander Technique is a practical method that helps us become more aware of these reactions. By pausing before we respond, we can consciously redirect our responses, allowing for greater ease and control in daily life.

In lessons, we will explore everyday activities, bringing attention to habitual reactions as they arise. Gradually, we will develop a new process of constructive, conscious control, making these responses more intentional, useful, and sustainable.

"It is a practical technique, to be applied to all the simple things, such as moving and breathing, eating and speaking, lifting and carrying, reading and writing; but it is also useful for the safeguarding of health, the avoidance of accidents, the control of habitual reactions, the realization of individual potential, and the fulfillment of desires and wishes."
